This is a large main floor remodel that opens up and modernizes an older Edina home. The interesting, detailed and creative design perfectly suited the clients lifestyle and tastes, by Albertson Hanson Architects. This project was a full renovation of about half of the main floor of the house. It involved using beams and posts to eliminate walls, new hardwood through-out, custom cabinetry with creative storage solutions, and many custom elements and design features. It has tons of prep space, pull out pantries, new appliances, new windows and trims. Everything we put into this kitchen was built with functionality in mind. This is the perfect family kitchen, which is exactly the goal for this homeowner! The total investment for this full kitchen model was around $150,000, and the remodel took 12-14 weeks to complete.
