Soft, muted colors and rich, warm wood tones meet in this kitchen to revive this dreamy Western Bungalow era kitchen. The circular pendant light gives the kitchen a cozy glow, and the return to the farmhouse sink gives the room a hardy, historic vibe. The whole kitchen seems to wrap you in the warmest hug, preparing you for the harshest of Minnesota winters. To renovate this kitchen, the investment was around $30k, as we were able to keep the existing cabinetry, add to it, and refinish it top to bottom. From start to finish, this project required close attention to historical aspects and finishes that were in-line with the original finishes of the home, and the renovation took around 5 weeks to complete. Our favorite way to describe this kitchen was that of the homeowner’s when she said she was giving the kitchen a “100-year-old birthday present” by refreshing the space.
