Bright, white uppers mixed with navy blue lowers create this modernized, open-concept kitchen. Re-finished original wood flooring keeps this kitchen from being stark and adds a richness to the space that also marries many of the other areas of the home together. The creamy marble-inspired quartz countertops give the kitchen that much sought after clean and sleek look, keeping this kitchen perfectly uniform and easy to maintain. This kitchen renovation required a total investment of $100k; however, it involved adding a powder room to the main floor and the removal of a load-bearing wall. The kitchen started as a small room with too many doors with no real work flow. We turned the basement staircase so it opened into the living room and moved the exterior door to give a much better area to work with. The project took 8 weeks in the construction phase, with the biggest hurdles being opening the space to a previous addition and changing the stairs. What began as an addition, turned into a re-space within the footprint of the house to hone in on the investment cost.

Floor Plans: Before & After

“With Josh and his crew things always go smoothly and I do mean always! They are all very professional and treat your home and you with the utmost care. These are true master carpenters and painters.

There isn’t a job they haven’t done in my home over the last three years, including taking care of my dogs when they’re in the house. A big “thank you” to Josh and his crew… Thanks for the beautiful home you have given to us!”
