Farmhouse

Check out the photos from this quaint farmhouse remodel. Rustic wood accents mixed with classic beadboard cabinetry in the kitchen will take you back to the old family farm, but with a modern and functional twist. We added a cozy fireplace to the main floor to warm up the space with a shiplap style surround. A large open plan loft space works double duty as a play space and a guest bedroom. We remodeled the master bathroom and utilized a portion of a closet to add a main floor laundry space that keeps this family organized and gives them a clean space to do all of those never-ending loads of laundry. We took a story and a half and added a double dormer to create the "kid level" with a brand new bathroom. We fitted the exterior with pre-finished siding and modern farm style metal roofs. The total investment for this whole home remodel was $180k, and it took around a year to complete the construction in every area of this cozy farmhouse.
