Virgil started as a finish carpenter and has since worked his way to a full time Project Manager/Estimator for Platinum Remodeling and Handyman Services.  

Virgil has a degree in Industrial Technology with emphasis’s in construction management and manufacturing management. Working hands on in the field for 7 years as a carpenter has provided knowledge for troubleshooting and problem solving on the many different aspects of a project. 

His favorite part of any project that he works on is the look on customers’ faces when they see their finished project. “ I enjoy the satisfaction I receive when as a team we are able to provide great looking craftsmanship,” says Virgil. 

Virgil is drawn to the smooth lines and fine finishes that come together to create an overall eye catching space. 

He also enjoys working on older Minneapolis homes that have their own creative character, and trying to duplicate what past craftsmen have done to create a seamless look between old and new. When it come to his own personal style, Virgil likes Ranch-style homes with a mix of Mid-century Modern and Industrial designs that blend rustic and modern features together.  

Virgil Pawlenty lives with his spouse Kellee and their dog Luna a yellow lab.  

When Virgil isn’t at work, he is spending as much time as possible up north. You can find him either fishing or hunting, and enjoying a big breakfast and a great steak. “ I enjoy the quietness and serenity of being on the water and in the woods,” says Virgil. “The sights and sounds of nature are what draw me to the outdoors.”
